Brisbane's Story Bridge

What to Expect: Start your Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure day or night climb 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Climbs depart from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point. After your expert guide describes the route and covers all-important safety procedures, you’ll be safely attached to the static line.
Then set off for the summit of this Brisbane icon, following your guide as your group ascends the eastern side of the bridge. Make your way up a steep incline to a top platform, reaching one of the two high points of the climb, each approximately 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. Enjoy uninterrupted, 360-degree views of the city skyline, spectacular on a twilight climb, and soak up the panorama including the Brisbane River, Moreton Bay, the Glass House Mountains, Mt. Coot-tha, and Lamington National Park in the distance. From the central platform, traverse the width of the bridge, high above six lanes of traffic.
Your Story bridge adventure climb ends with the return to headquarters, where you receive one complimentary high-resolution group photo of your experience.

Moreton Bay Cruise – Snorkel the Tangalooma Wrecks

What to Expect: Tangalooma Island Resort latest day trip offering includes a guided snorkel tour through the magical Tangalooma Shipwrecks of Moreton Island.
The crystal-clear waters that surround the wrecks are filled with over 200 species of fish and 130 species of coral, not to mention 3 different species of marine sea turtle, dolphins and even our resident Wobbegong sharks and stingrays.
This guided tour begins at the Tangalooma beach front, with a short boat ride to the wrecks, with all snorkel gear provided.

Maiala Rainforest Tour
Cost: From $175 per adult
Duration: 7-8 hours
What to Expect: A wonderful place to enjoy a picnic, barbecue or rainforest walk, Maiala was the first area on the D’Aguilar Range to become a national park. It now forms part of the larger D’Aguilar National Park.
Feel the cool shade of the rainforest as you wander along one of five walking tracks—the Rainforest circuit, Cypress Grove track, Western Window track, Greenes Falls track and Westside track—all accessible from this site.
Many wayside signs in the day-use area and along the Rainforest circuit interpret the history of the site and the beautiful natural environment.

Getting there and getting around
- Maiala is in the South D’Aguilar section of D’Aguilar National Park, about 42km from Brisbane’s city centre.
- Access roads are sealed and suitable for conventional (2WD) vehicles.
- From the Brisbane suburb of The Gap, take Mount Nebo Road (tourist route number 8) to Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre.
- Continue north-west along Mount Nebo Road for another 30km to Maiala on the north-west edge of the Mount Glorious township.
- Alternatively, drive about 19km from Samford via Mount Glorious Road to Maiala.
- Maiala day-use area and the walking track entry points are located next to the car parks.
Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA)
Cost: Single passes are free, which includes most exhibitions, screenings and programs. Some exhibitions and special events have an entry fee and tickets can be purchased online or onsite at the ticket desk. Entry to the Children’s Art Centre is always free.
